OVERVIEW The Respiratory Specialist is primarily responsible for helping with the management of a respiratory unit by administering respiratory therapy and performing pulmonary function tests under the supervision of a physician or nurse anesthetist. The Respiratory Specialist is strictly an advanced-level position.
