You'll sign your Guard contract at a Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS). While there, you will also get a full medical examination and meet with a career counselor to pick your Guard career. You'll also participate in a small ceremony called the Oath of Enlistment (family is welcome to attend).
Your recruiter will let you know what documents you need to bring with you to MEPS. After you've finished this huge step toward your future, you're committed to serving in the National Guard.
