Job training - What it is:
Your job-specific training is called Advanced Individual Training, or AIT. At AIT, you'll learn everything you need to do your job. You'll find out how to use the tools you need, be introduced to industry-leading techniques and get paid while you do it. When you graduate AIT, you'll be ready to join your unit as a team member.
Job training - What you'll do:
- Receive training specific to your Military Occupational Specialty, or MOS
- Receive any civilian certifications or licenses appropriate for your job
- Continue to perform regular physical exercise
- Learn specific tools and technologies you'll use in your job
- Learn the same trade skills that are taught in the civilian world and get paid to do it
