AC2NG

You've served with honor on active duty. And now, as you transition to civilian life, you still have that desire—to stand for something, to protect, to answer the call of your community and country.

There's a place for you in the Guard.

Continue your service nearer to home—where you can use your hard-earned skills to serve your community. Opportunities still abound for your military career, including entry into officer or warrant officer career paths.

Ease your transition.

The civilian world is different. That applies to pay, benefits and the job hunt. The Guard can help ease your transition with benefits and financial opportunities that you already know, understand and trust.

Another huge benefit is joining a network of military service members who want to see you succeed in the Guard and your civilian career. In the Guard, you'll be a part of that team.

Questions to ask.

Find your Reserve Component Career Counselor (RCCC) on post and get a head start on the next phase of your career with these questions:

  • Are there any urgent units—Special Forces, cyber or medical—that I can apply for in my state?
  • Do I qualify for the MOS Conversion Bonus (MOSCB)?
  • Are there any bonuses available for officers or warrant officers?
  • What is the method of payment and timeline for my bonus?
  • If I'm a Marine, what does my transition look like?
  • How can the Transitional Assistance Management System ease my transition to civilian life?
