OVERVIEW
Network switching systems operator-maintainers perform maintenance on electronic switches, control centers, combat radios and other equipment associated with networks. They also use computers to troubleshoot the system when errors occur.
JOB DUTIES
TRAINING
Ten weeks of Basic Combat Training and 20 weeks of Advanced Individual Training with on-the-job instruction. Part of this time is spent in the classroom, and part in the field.
Advanced Individual Training: 20 weeks, 3 days at Fort Gordon, GA
